5 reasons to join our New Slack Community: Global SaaS Leadership *

Mar 24, 2022

The version that is TL;DR of this article reads like this:

  • We've just created a new (free!) Slack community: Global SaaS Leaders.
  • The program is open to leaders of well-established SaaS as well as software firms (including the founders! ).

The reason we're launching the free Slack group

Because community is awesome!

No, seriously.

Sure, there are many other SaaS as well as software-based communities across the world. Some of them are excellent.

When we began thinking about making the type of community you wouldlike to be a member of, we discovered there was a chance to develop something innovative.

We designed Global SaaS Leaders as a space with five distinct features:

1. Global perspective

We found a lot of SaaS and software community that were U.S.-based or focused on a particular location.

Global SaaS Leaders will be different. They may reside in the U.S., but our clients and the broader SaaS community is spread out across the world..

As we expand the group and expand our reach, we'll be aware of establishing a broad participation and an international perspective.

2. Designed for top executives from well-established software and SaaS firms.

Some of the most fascinating conversations about software we could locate online were those that revolved around the beginning of the initial SaaS business.

These discussions are helpful for those looking to begin building an SaaS.

It's difficult to locate helpful conversations among the top executives of established Software and SaaS businesses.

This is why we've decided to establish an online community of SaaS entrepreneurs who think about the expansion and growth of the size of an already established software business instead of creating products that are not financially viable or seeking seed funding.

If you're a life-style businessperson with an unfunded SaaS that is currently earning 10,000 dollars per month, we'd like to help to connect with entrepreneurs like to you.

The same applies if you're the development leader for a start-up with a venture capitalist backing that recently surpassed $10 million in revenue per year.

This is what we will discuss in Global SaaS Leaders: to provide an opportunity where you will be able to discuss the unique problems you'll face when your product is ready for market and begin to grow.

3. Professionally moderated

It takes a dedicated and experienced moderator (or group of moderators!) to build a positive and welcoming culture within a community.

We've learned lots by watching the Reddit community, r/entrepreneur for example.

But, even towns with excellent amenities such as this struggle at times with concentration. It's interesting that the No. most popular thread in the world is an angry blog post about how the influx of cryptocurrency has dominated the feed

Katie Stephan and Nathan Collier (authors of this article!) is the moderation team that will be in place at the time we launch with the Global SaaS Leaders community.

More than a decade creating online communities for thousands of users.

As well as creating and running the community is a part of what we do.

The discussion will be focused on SaaS and software and we'll ensure that customers don't deal unwelcome offers, unwanted mailers or personal attacks. Any form of trolling.

4. It is not particularly targeted at venture capital or round of funding.

We're not concerned about whether you're struggling financially, venture-funded or private equity bought, or some other type of ownership.

Global SaaS Leaders will not be an conference that's solely about financing rounds or exit strategies.

Additionally, we would like to establish a forum where we can discuss hiring, revenue and profit methods and pricing strategies technology infrastructure as well other things that are related to creating a successful software business.

It's acceptable for the members to have discussions about the financing. However, it isn't the only talk.

5. The most supportive SaaS Software community available on the web.

Certain online communities can be risky areas.

No matter who you are, no matter where you're from or your past, we'd like that you feel confident contributing and participating in our forums.

Katie as well as I we will do everything that we can in order to build positive and supportive cultures in this emerging community. Additionally, we will ensure that we don't allow personal attacks, bigotry, prejudice based on race, gender, or other inappropriate behavior.

Our aim is nothing less than to create the most supportive SaaS and software-based community online.

How do I join the Global SaaS Leaders Community

If you're an executive at an established SaaS company, we'd love to welcome you into our community!

We are aware that it is a lengthy form to fill out, but we use the information to check the legitimacy of our community and also to find spammers.

There's also a FAQ on the application's website that could answer some of your queries.

We'd love to welcome you come and join us!
