Avoid perfection paralysis with these tips from the creators of content

Oct 14, 2022

Most likely, you've encountered someone who couldn't be able complete their work because they thought that every part had to be perfect. But, perfection doesn't exist (truly). The project isn't finished, whether on their computer or in their studio. It is possible that some would consider it an unnecessary waste of time as nobody gets to enjoy what was created by the artist.

The desire to be perfect can prove to be an obstacle to entrepreneurs and creators. According to research from the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, perfectionism is associated with "feelings of failure, guilt, indecisiveness, procrastination, shame, and lower self-esteem." It is the reason why many people struggle to get ahead with their job or undertaking - which is called perfectionist insanity. However, how can get over this?

Let go of the need for perfection and refining to an realistic standard for what is acceptable to be communicated isn't easy. To help you do this we have asked two specialists to discuss their own experiences in overcoming perfectionists during the live summit that took place in the month of August 2022. Check out the YouTube video:

What is the reason people are too caught up in perfection?

Have you conquered the fear of perfection?

Digital goods don't have to have to be perfect, but they do require a certain level of quality to be able to earn money. Can a designer establish their own standards for the level of quality best for their business and their brand?

Grace declares:

"Consider how it represents the high quality of your material or knowledge that you plan to publish? Does it tell a convincing account of the value you've got to offer? Also, things like making sure you're editing your copy and that you have top quality video and audio. Anything that can enhance your user's experience to be as high quality as it could be.

But, I think that more than anything else it's best to just have a go at the task. It doesn't require the most expensive production crew to create a great video. You can make something great on your iPhone. Make sure there's nothing in the background, and that the sound quality is top-notch.

What's the first step an experienced creator can do to assist them in creating their initial digital item?

   Steve says:

"I observe that the vast majority of business owners are engrossed with the message, and they're not paying attention to the market. You must ask yourself: do I have a potential market accept my message? What is the best way to determine if there is a market to your message?

It's quite simple to Ask particular questions, such as:

  1. What's the challenge that my voice or passion can help you solve?
  2. Who's the cause and requires an answer?
  3. What are the individuals that you are obligated to serve?
  4. Where can you find them?
  5. Will they be able to
  6. How much money are they capable of spending?
  7. What's the main reason someone would choose you over than the other options that are out there?

will help you to get your data and information out to the world community (finally!)
