Recently, I was able to see Olga posting her posts on Instagram regarding my hometown where I grew up. The urban forest of Warsaw is a neglected, revered green space. I'd love to visit it during the summer months, to take a glimpse of the stunning pines, and breathe fresh air to my urban lung. According to the tale of her, Olga visited this area for the first time, but she was impressed by the most ancient gardens in Warsaw. Most likely, within the next few years she'll make a painting inspired by Boernerowo.

We'd like to know from Olga the elements she relies upon as the foundation for creating minimalist collages. Also, she focuses on making scenes that feature human-like forms.

"My name"is Olga Szczechowska, and I'm originally from Warsaw. From the time I was being a child, I've painted and drawing numerous times. I attended art classes during my high school years. I was a student in the Department of Painting and the Cultural Studies in the University of Nicolaus Copernicus in Torun.

I'm an artist, illustrator and in addition to a graphic designer. My artwork is a look at how we interact with the natural world. I pay close attention on the way we create the environment is ours. When I look at the cutting hedges in, beautiful ornamental plants, and exquisitely landscaped gardens for my home I'm looking to record the beauty and the wonder of nature around our heads."

"For long I've also made minimal collages. These collages can be seen in the form of landscapes, still-life, or are a reaction to my research into patterns, textures and color.

My approach to art is varied since collage and painting are very different. But there's something they have the same thing in common They both show the power of calming. I've been told about "soothing" within my work from my followers many times and I believe that it's the most appropriate word to describe my work. When I'm bored with creating art, I design collages. Also, reverse. One particular style may provide an opportunity to temporarily be able to escape that specific one.

Being alert is crucial. I pay attention to everything that I am able to see. And it includes architecture, environment and the things. That is evident in my artwork. My art isn't based on the human body. It is possible to see human bodies in the hedges I cut as and the mug that I've got sitting on the counter of my kitchen."
