Collage collages with minimal design - CreativeMindClass Blog

In the afternoon of Sunday, I was able to catch Olga posting stories on Instagram of my neighborhood from childhood. In the middle of Warsaw's concrete jungle, there is a lesser-known, revered green zone. I often visited it in summer time to gaze at the beautiful pine trees and breathe in the fresh air of fresh air within my urban lung. In her tale, Olga visited this area in her first visit, but she was also captivated by one of the oldest backyards of Warsaw. In the near future, I am sure she will create a Boernerowo inspired painting.

We inquired with Olga what she uses as the basis for designing her minimalist collages as well as painting of landscapes that are human-shaped.

"My name is Olga Szczechowska, and I'm living in Warsaw. From the time I was a youngster, I've drawn and painted numerous times. I attended an art school in high school. I also studied Drawing as well as Cultural Studies at the University of Nicolaus Copernicus in Torun.

I'm a painter, illustrator, and sometimes a graphic designer. In my practice, I examine the interplay between humankind and nature by carefully observing the way we create nature in our own backyards. By looking at trimmed hedges as well as decorative plants and meticulously designed home gardens, I am capturing the strange nature of our immediate surroundings."

"For some time, I've made minimalist collages. These collages were inspired by landscapes, still life, or are created as a result of experimentation with forms, textures as well as colours.

My style is eclectic as collages and painting differ in many ways, however they have one thing in common: they soothe. I've heard this phrase repeatedly from my viewers, and I think that it is an accurate description of the essence of my art. When I'm bored of painting, I make collages, and vice versa. The one style serves as an way to escape the one.

I believe that being aware is essential. I carefully observe everything around me: the environment, architecture and objects. The result is my artwork. Through my work, you are not able to see the human , however, we are able to feel the humans in the hedges that are trimmed or in a cup that is left at the end of the dining table."
