 If I were forced to pick a word that represents my drawing style that word would be "Spring'.

I would like people to look at my illustrations and feel like they are blooming themselves, like a warm spring of blooming flowers.

Cottagecore is my lifestyle that I prefer and cherish. This could be due to the fact that I live in Seoul the largest city in Korea, so I admire nature and the countryside much more than what I catch in their sight daily.

So rather than spreading intensity instead, I prefer to express a peaceful and peaceful mood as I do in nature.

 What's the secret for creating illustrations?

The first thing I'd like is to discuss the things that I take inspiration in. I find joy in small items. Flowers I see in a flower garden or the whispers of a flower fluttering when the wind blows or even a tiny flower at the corner of a road I pass as I walk.

My work is mostly with small wildflowers. Landscapes that are natural from botanical encyclopedias, and landscapes from rural areas can also be a source of sources of inspiration. I save a lot of information through images and usually take notes of color pencil ideas.

Secondly, let's talk about the method of working. I create drawings to the level of intricate details, as if they were real flowers and I convey my emotions with color.

I make use of sharp colored pencils that precisely express the shape that the flowers take. It is then set with a gentle and warm mood by employing pastels instead of intense shades.

It is also my preference to put simple and rough paper with the flower method of paper to create the appearance of flowers in bloom.

Rather than simply drawing I feel that making flower designs on paper creates a better atmosphere. This is a closer translation of my imagination.

My name is Yeo Jin. I'm an artist with a colored pencil. author and illustrator located in Seoul. My work is based on flowers as they always bring me happiness!

So far, I've published six color pencil-related tutorials. I also have collaborated with companies to create illustrations. I currently give lectures to new drawing students and am also making products that are sold on the internet and local boutiques.
