A lot of kids begin their businesses as entrepreneurs by selling their treats to friends, Morgan Hipworth took his young interest in food and took it to the next stage. The young founder behind popular Australian bakery Bistro Morgan Bistro Morgan was capable of developing an appreciation for food through watching cooking shows as young as 7 years of age.

"I observed other kids on television pursuing their goals and then I realized "If they're capable of doing it, I can achieve it too,'" Morgan says. He put his faith into action "Each week, I'd prepare three meals to feed my parents and my extended family and served my meals at the table of my parents," he says. "I later extended my customer base to my extended family, providing freshly baked treats at birthdays and other occasions." As a teenager, he was encouraged by a local cafe--and became solely responsible for the cafe's stock of baked goods and desserts.

Make sure that your customers are an integral part of the story you tell about your brand.

"Being capable of telling an interesting story that takes customers on a journey has been an integral aspect of building a client base," he says. "Connection is of the utmost priority, and it's also crucial to turn an individual customer into a committed customer who stays with you throughout the years."
