Samuel Sparrow, potter and maker
Find out how the three artists select which of their works they want to display on their websites, and how they designed their online presence to reflect their aesthetic and work as well as how their individual websites have helped to advance their creative career full-time.
Choosing what work to share on your site
The three creators focus on a different part of the experience for the viewers when choosing the work they will feature on their own website. Gunnar is an instance, is trying to provide the viewer a variety of options while remaining faithful to the work he has created.
"Most of the traffic to my site comes via social media. Therefore, I try not to make it appear too much with what I'm posting on my social media," he says. "My main goal is to make it relevant to the kind of work I'd like to be involved in, as well as some of the projects I am most proud of. I feel this will be relevant both for my fans and potential clients, and also for newcomers."
