"I am a resident and working in Bristol UK and studied Illustration at Brighton UK. I've been an active artist and illustrator since 2013 where my interests have slowly changed throughout the years, from vibrant and vivid character designs to more abstracted and heavy work. I tend to make art using a combination of sketching, collage a mix of both and sometimes 3D. Also, I self-publish many zines as well as sometimes comics."

What are your thoughts on your collage's style?

"Primarily not digital" (though it's my choice to be truthful both ways to work are equally relevant to one another) that includes a variety of textures on paper. I've made pieces using lots of vibrant colours, however I've tried to be more thoughtful and calm with my colours over the last few time. My work is centered on the composition of shapes and forms also. My art tends to be somewhat playful in the sense that I view my collages and drawings I make as a form of playing, or the act of having enjoyment."

What are the keys to creating collages?

"It's hard to pick one key to my approach to creating illustrations, as well as different work. A sense of joy or happiness is essential in the way I create artwork. It is my goal to always discover ways to incorporate the same feeling into my work. When I make a decision, I tell myself: 'If I'm not having fun doing this particular piece, then I shouldn't make it and I'll have to search at a different method of approaching it'. When it comes to Illustration projects, I've found that to get the best result, simplifying everything is vital. It is common for me to get caught up on details, or specific concepts or ideas, and then need take a step back and simplify everything back down to the essence. It is often the case that this applies as much to the content as it does be to the format."

"I have created an artwork to support a important project, which was launched in the UK known as Communitea. 55 artists , including me were asked to design an artwork in an effort to express the bond to Chinese culture. The work can now be purchased in the form of a poster on Roomfifty and all proceeds are used to in saving the London Chinese Community centre from closing and tackling the growing tide of hate against Asians."
