Passive is Passe: Creating Online Courses requires Active Participation
Most service-based enterprises that generate profits through leveraged or passive products can be a wonderful concept, however there's an array of mental and mental concerns that may arise while entering this field. First, there's the false belief about passive revenue being the best kind of earnings. It is possible to earn a living from your bed and get on a trip across the sea. You're right, but it's not necessary to put your product for sale.
What if you actually consider those who buy the program? If, for instance, you're not looking to go towards the ocean but instead you would prefer to stay around, clasp hands, inquire about concerns, and truly help your customers through the program?
Does that make you a bad professional?
Does that mean that you're justleveraging but you're not earning any money from it, so you've failed?
Not at ALL.
We're here to tell you that leveraged is the newest black.
Besides the passive income, it is also a huge part of in 2014.
The most successful online course creators stay in touch with their students
Beautiful, heart-centered entrepreneurs are launching BRILLIANT program that is leveraged, and staying connected to their communities And people love them for this.
In an age where prospective clients have ALREADY taken part in a myriad of web-based programs, yet have not yet completed their education, a self-study programme could be viewed as a kind of white noise.
Today, we live in a world where we are fed up of being pushed through automated funnels, lead generators, and in essence, forced to jump through hoops in order to determine how much money you'd like, and the best way to pay this to you, online buyers are pushing back. Refusing. Waiting until they're able to collaborate one-on-one, or part of a high-touch group program which involves a significant amount of face-to-face interaction.
Connected course creators, this could be GREAT news.
Personally, I don't consider it a part of my DNA to have a truly passive income. My first genuine passive income product I ever created was a year-long planner designed by entrepreneurs, and cost just $19.98. At the time of its launch, the product, I had sold over 170 copies. It was awe-inspiring. I then proceeded to start contact with the people who purchased the product to ensure they'd filled it up for the duration of their purchase, and also to ask what they thought of it, and whether they had any suggestions and to offer tips on how to continue to use it through the year.
This was not an income-generating device that was non-reactive. It was a fact that I was able to spend more than ten hours talking to those who bought it to find out the opinions of them and assist them with their use!
The following year, I introduced The Heart and Soul planner again in late 2015. It was the second time that it included two sessions for groups. One session that I took people through the pages of the planner every page one by one, answering their concerns and presenting ideas, and the second session that I directed participants to create their own strategies for implementation in order to make sure that the planner doesn't become just another dust collection device.
By converting my product that was passive into leveraged product I discovered a myriad of advantages for both the buyers and sellers alike:
- I was more connected to those who bought, and was able to ensure people were getting great value I felt great for myself, and good for them.
- I designed a TRIBE. I was on the live chat with each other. participants were interacting with one other, cheering each other to one another and sharing suggestions and concepts. It was not a time to divide or divide - instead, the goal was to unify and make connections.
- People were able to KNOW my name, which means that my KLT (know, like, trust) rating soared.
- Conversion to better product was awe-inspiring - of the women of 256 who bought this time, around, three are now VIP clients. They have enrolled in one of my courses and twenty are enrolled in my business school in just 6 months. The process of conversion will continue throughout the year, I believe.
If you're contemplating and planning your next course of your program, product or course, think about creating something more interconnected, and not as passive. You might need be more consistent in your efforts. being more consistent with your work.
But you never know that it's possible to find that you enjoy it.
