The

Keith Andrade of The Morning Byte

Keith Andrade, founder of The Morning Byte

"One of my passions is staying up to date with all the latest developments going on in the business and tech world," starts Keith Andade who worked in the field of software as a service (SaaS) for the past seven years.

He attended Baruch College, a business school in Manhattan during his time was at Baruch College, he picked up a lot about business to connect with his interest in technological advancement. "The two go hand-in-hand," he discovered. " Businesses today require technology for success, to grow and scale. It was interesting to realize the way these technologies work."

After college he started working at a health insurance and payroll firm. "Previously the only thing that was available were pens and paper and filing cabinets. Then, [the new company] were revolutionizing the market," he recalls.

Later he worked at monday.com as well as ones.com and sold tools for project management to corporations. "I loved it. It was then that I realised to conduct a productive conversation with my customers, I needed to not only understand the technology but not simply understand how their business works, but also stay current with the latest trends."

Keith used to spend his free time writing articles and researching in order to send them to family and friends. "I decided, 'I don't want to continue to send them news articles each morning on something I think is intriguing'. So I created this news text service for quick updates of the latest news." He created an automated service using Zapier as well as ChatGPT to allow him to locate his favorite articles, rewrite them into concise bullets, and then send them as a text message to subscribers," Keith explains.

The problem with social media

"Our customers are awestruck by social media. Everyone does - it's that instant gratification" Keith continues. But the problem of social media is that it can take up too much amount of time. You may use TikTok to find some short news clips You could utilize Instagram or follow your favourite influencer to see a carousel images of the latest news, but the issue is that every time you open up an app, you're exposed to other ideas and beliefs that appear automatically on your feeds."

Keith believes that the benefit that comes from The Morning Byte is it removes any intrusion of another content that is that are competing to get your interest. "It's an SMS message that you open it when you'd like. It's your freedom back," he explains.

Some readers look at it in the early morning, while others skim over it at lunchtime. "The idea is that you're in control of the attention you pay. Social media is a place where it's up to you to be able to cut through the clutter and discover what you are looking for. Social media can be a time sucker and it wastes your time. And time is the most valuable resource we have," Keith adds.

He continues that social media is not an motivation to make our lives better. "It's wonderful to remain connected but the purpose isn't just to stay connected but to stay connected, isn't it?" he asks. "I browse my feed including all ads, or businesses that pay to publish their content."

"I believe that social media is entertaining. It's a good thing. However, I'm not convinced it's a great idea. And I don't think it's good for our mental health. The Morning Byte is a space for those who would like to make their lives better." The author advises people who wish to take advantage of technology or aspiring to be an entrepreneur should have sources to stay ahead of the game "All I'm suggesting is The Morning Byte might be your first choice!" he smiles.

Crucially, Keith uses his own product every all day. "I spend nights burning the midnight oil searching for the most relevant stuff because sometimes things happen in the evening and I want people to be ready and informed when they start their day. I select reliable sources like Reuters or the New York Times. Forbes is a great source; The Verge is a great source."

Keith says that even if you're just a tiny business owner, if you have a reliable source of information that may be not accessible to a large media company, it's certainly worth the attention of The Morning Byte. "If I find your piece fascinating, I'll send it to our subscribers - as you can prove it's worth reading!" he adds.

Being ahead of the game

As someone who's worked with numerous firms, Keith was constantly thinking about how he could take something that he enjoyed and make money from it, all the while offering value to the clients. Prior to coming up with the business plan for The Morning Byte, he noticed another customer, The New Paper, did something similar but in the world of politics. Keith saw an opportunity.

"I consider there's plenty worth gaining for people working in the field of technology. Professionals, such as realtors, want to understand the ways in which AI technology impacts the way they live their lives." Keith thought he could help them stay ahead of the game. "If you're a professional podcaster, it's like, 'Do I need the newest microphone?' Or is there a software that will assist me in making my voice sound crisp What are the questions people ask their own since there's an innovative AI tool being put out every single day."

I wanted The Morning Byte for myself. It was then that I experienced that 'wow' experience. I want to go beyond just keep up-to-date; I need to keep in the forefront of technology. I am a tech worker and I'm constantly challenged to win sales and win business." When The New Paper focuses on politics, The Morning Byte focuses on the financial sector and electric cars. It also covers machine learning and artificial intelligence."

It's not surprising that Keith's readers are business and tech proprietors, who have limited time. "It's difficult to keep up with the latest technology and confusion. The information on my site is true. I provide highlights from articles. You don't have to read through the entire article and you only get the highlights, and then be able to understand the situation. If you're interested in reading the source of the information, as it is important to understand where your information comes from, the source link is there.

"The article is linked to the themorningbyte.co and it has a cool artistic rendering using generative AI art to really tell an amazing story. it's fascinating. The goal is to give people the opportunity to talk about their experiences and also to stay on top and keep up-to-date."

Keith's story is complete, starting as a customer in need of details, then a buyer of his own products, to a founder of a company curating information for other people.
