And most readers don't. That's why most recipe websites have a "Jump into Recipe" link. You can bet that these are the most popular hyperlinks on the web!

There's also an opportunity to make a profit against the negativity which is looming over your ads. And that silver lining is the possibility of selling your ads.

If you have a WordPress site built on the idea of making ads more profitable you're in the ideal position to make the most of the chance to convert free users to paying subscribers.

And you can do it quickly, no matter how or where you show your ads.

Advertising Serving Methods for WordPress

Let's first look at the two most popular methods of serving advertisements on a WordPress site: static insertion and dynamic introduction.

     Static Insertion

This is a great option for those with a single image or hyperlink you'd like to include in your advertisement. You can do it by uploading the image and putting links behind it using Block Editor.

Dynamic Insertion

It is the most typical approach that allows ads to be placed in defined regions. A theme or plugin usually determines the areas ads will appear within. Most of the time it is a third-party advertising network, like Google Adsense, will determine the ads that will be displayed.

An excellent Ad Management Plugin to WordPress

If you don't already have a theme or plugin to manage advertisements, it is recommended to install the plugin. There's an array of premium and free plugins that provide dynamic ads placement. My favorite of mine and ours for our website , is AdSanity.

For the example that I've provided in this article I'm using the 2nd most popular advertising management software, Advanced Ads.

Making use of rules to eliminate ads to Members

After having set up and set up You're now ready to create the rules that will allow you to avoid ads. In the admin panel, select Rules, and then create the rule. Use the part of the rule type in this.

In my sandbox I'm using two levels of membership, Premium as well as Executive. My rule is set to restrict content for users who are Executive. I'm planning to block ads from members who join my Executive membership.

In the image above, you can see example shortcodes which block or show information based on this idea. Let's begin with that.

Using the Shortcode to block ads on WordPress

Each of the most popular Ad Management plugins allow you to display advertisements through the use of shortcodes. This is an example where I'm making use of the paid plug-in Advanced Ads..

This approach is compatible with our favorite software, AdSanity, and almost any other advertising management software.

You can set your Ad Shortcode where you wish to show ads. Then, it is wrapped around it's Hide shortcode. It's how it looks by inserting an ad inline between the paragraphs of my fictional blog.

This technique hides the ad content from the view of those who are Executive Members. Anyone not a member of the Executive level can view the advertisement. As an example, in my particular case, Premium members still see the ads.

Do you see the advertisement on the sidebar, too? This is a widget. I'll help you deal with ads in widgets following. First, let me share what my Executive Members experience following the post.

Utilizing Protected Blocks to stop ads from WordPress

When you install , you'll see a new block item that is named protected. This is a secure block. You can control almost any part of the content you publish in WordPress.

You can add an encrypted block in a course, page and/or the lesson, or even a widget. The AdSanity plugin allows you to insert an advertisement, or whole group of advertisements within the widget.

To block advertisements inside a widget, it is necessary to add a security block to the widget. You can accomplish it with Divi.

In the WordPress Admin Menu go to Divi > Theme Customizer. Select Widgets After that, Sidebar.

If you have added the secured block, you can configure it to be a reference to the rule you want to refer to. Make sure you select an an option that allows you to block any information that is shared by members that are within the scope of the rule.

The next step is to insert the group of ads/ads into the block that is protected. Be sure to save the settings, after which you can try it!

Wrapping Up

You can see that it allows you to control content with an easy task. If you're using advertisements to monetize your blog then you'll require . Consider the possibilities of earning regular, steady income from paying customers or members.

This is an easy approach to grow the number of readers who read your blog regularly. It doesn't take an enormous amount of effort. One of the more difficult elements is deciding on how much to charge a member...

What should you price for ad-free membership

There isn't a need for a lot of paid customers to make this all worthwhile. Make a plan for the number of returning customers you'd like to turn into paid members. Would you like to make only 20 percent of your regular visitors to subscribe?
